Ingredients:
- Rava/sooji- 1 cup
- Yogurt/curd- 1/2 cup
- Ginger-garlic paste- 1 tbsp
- Tomato(chopped)- 1 (medium)
- Onion(chopped)- 1(medium)
- Red bell pepper/Capsicum(chopped)- 1/4 cup
- Cumin powder- 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- Take a big mixing bowl, add rava/sooji, yogurt/curd and mix it well.
- Add water and make a thick batter.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, tomato, onion, red bell pepper, cumin powder and salt to taste. Mix it well.
- Rest it for 1 hour.
- Heat a non-stick pan, pour a ladleful of uttappa batter and spread in a circular motion.Maintain the thickness of uttappa.
- Add oil around uttappa. Flip over on the other side once the uttappa turns golden brown. Cook both the sides.
- your instant rava uttappam or sooji uttappam is ready. serve it with chutney of your choice
